Unarmed Security Officers Peralta Associates & Defense is seeking full-time Unarmed Security Officers to join our rapidly growing team in the Santa Clara, CA area. Our team consists of experienced professionals dedicated to exceeding industry standards. Job Summary Conduct regular observation of client premises and report any suspicious activity. Perform foot patrols, monitor the perimeter, and handle incident reporting. Key Responsibilities Deliver excellent customer service while adhering to safety, security procedures, and site-specific policies. Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly, using problem‑solving skills. Patrol the site on foot to identify potential dangers or criminal activity. Report any suspicious activity to supervisors or law enforcement as necessary. Maintain accurate reports by documenting observations, occurrences, and surveillance activities. Issue verbal warnings, make arrests (if applicable), and/or contact law enforcement for security violations or criminal activities. Adapt to various working environments and conditions. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications Valid California Guard Card required. Power to arrest certificate required. Appropriate Use of Force certificate required. High School Diploma or GED equivalent. California License: #PPO122215. Must pass a comprehensive background check, including a criminal record, driving record, and drug testing. Required Skills and Attributes Proficiency in English, including speaking, reading, and writing. Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service. Ability to meet all physical demands such as standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods. Benefits Paid Holidays: Federal holidays are paid at a holiday rate if worked.
