Are you someone who enjoys helping people, staying organized, and managing a high volume of calls in a fast-paced healthcare environment? We are hiring a Medical Receptionist to join our client's dedicated Phone Department team.
In this role, you'll be one of the first points of contact for patients and referring providers, helping ensure every caller receives exceptional service and reaches the right resource quickly. If you thrive in a team-oriented environment and enjoy making a difference in patients' experiences, we'd love to hear from you!
What You'll Do
- Answer and manage a high volume of inbound patient and provider calls professionally and efficiently
- Route calls accurately to the appropriate department or provider
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate referral appointments
- Assist with pre-authorizations and other administrative support tasks
- Prepare and maintain patient charts according to established protocols
- Provide outstanding customer service while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to support overall patient care

What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a Receptionist, Medical Receptionist, Customer Service, Front Office, Call Center, or related role preferred
- Experience handling multiple phone lines in a busy environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with computer systems and standard office software
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations
- Positive attitude and team-first mindset
