Maintenance Apprentice


We are partnering with an established local manufacturing facility to find a mechanically inclined, long-term team member for a Maintenance Apprentice role. This position is designed for someone who wants to build a specialized, highly valuable skill set while handling the everyday operational needs of a busy production plant.

Pay Rate: Up to $24.00 per hour (dependent on experience)


Schedule: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday through Thursday (4-day workweek)


Location: St. Croix Falls, WI area


Job Duties:

• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on plant equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair production process lines to minimize downtime
• Learn to diagnose, repair, and maintain specialized knitting machines and textile-related equipment as experience grows
• Assist with equipment retrofits and upgrades as needed
• Complete and maintain accurate maintenance records and logs
• Handle general facility and grounds maintenance, including minor plumbing repairs (fixing leaky faucets), lighting upkeep, and basic building maintenance
• Perform other duties as assigned

Experience & Qualifications Required:

• Minimum of 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in general building maintenance, mechanical repair, manufacturing support, or a related technical trade
• A strong mechanical aptitude and a genuine enthusiasm for learning how complex, specialized machinery operates
• Demonstrated experience using standard hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Highly dependable, detail-oriented, and seeking a stable, long-term career opportunity
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift typical tool and equipment loads
