We are currently looking for a highly motivated System Administrator with a desire to break away from the corporate work environment and embrace a small, yet rapidly growing company atmosphere.No Visa Sponsorship is available for this position.Job Description:This position requires rotating on-call for production systems supportExperience with a variety of commercial Unix and Linux platforms and distributionsShell Scripting experience is essential, formal programming experience is a plusSystem performance tuningA variety of software experienceNAS and SAN Storage Administration experienceNetwork management including Bonding/Teaming interfaces, diagnosing network problemsExperience with Oracle RDBMS Database, Apache, Tomcat, VMwareThis position requires Remote Install, Support, Monitoring and Maintenance of Client IT infrastructureExcellent organization skillsSkills Required:Linux (Red Hat / SuSE) and UnixSystems Patching and Backup/RestoreCrash diagnosis and resolutionShell scriptingUnix file systems and logical volume managementStorage AdministrationInstallation and configuration of typical Linux software from both packages and source codeSystems management using Lights Out or Remote Access toolsDesirable Skills:VMware, other systems virtualization technologiesSystems performance tuningNetwork Management (switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, IDS, NMS)Experience supporting Oracle RAC (ASM / Grid / etc)Qualifications:Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, CIS or similar discipline, or equivalent5+ years of Systems Administration experienceComprehensive Compensation and Benefits PackageHealth, Dental, Vision, Life, STD & LTD120 hours Accrued PTO in first year401k Employer Match 100% vested
