Close monitoring and observation of the patient's heart rate, blood pressure and respiration for signs of distress represent a primary function of an ICU nurse. They also educate patients and their families while providing emotional support.

Term with cause - no penalty. Facility can cancel 2 shifts per 13 week contract with no penalty - guaranteed hours only apply at 3rd cancellation. Right to hire with no penalty after 13 week assignment completed. Late Cancellation of Shift by Client Affiliate or HealthTrust: pay subcontractor for the greater of the number of hours worked or 4 hours.
