This position offers the chance to work with a dedicated team of professionals who are committed to providing top-quality legal services to our clients. You will be dealing with complex and challenging cases, offering a platform to showcase your skills and experience. Responsibilities: Representing clients in all aspects of workers' compensation cases, from the initial consultation to the final resolution. Conducting thorough case research and investigation, gathering evidence, and developing strong legal strategies. Preparing and drafting legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and agreements. Negotiating settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to resolve cases efficiently and favorably. Presenting cases at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials, providing strong and effective advocacy for our clients. Staying updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends related to workers' compensation and insurance defense. Collaborating with team members, paralegals, and other staff to ensure a high level of client service and satisfaction. Qualifications: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the North Carolina State Bar and in good standing. A minimum of 2 years of experience in workers' compensation law, with a focus on insurance defense. Exceptional knowledge of workers' compensation laws and procedures. Proven ability to manage a large caseload, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines. Excellent research, analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients and other stakeholders. High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.
