Early Childhood Teacher – Infant, Toddler, Two-Year-Old & Pre-K Classrooms

Kiddie Academy® of St. Peters is seeking caring, dependable, and energetic Early Childhood Teachers to join our growing team. We are hiring teachers for our Infant, Toddler, Two-Year-Old, Preschool, and Pre-K classrooms.

Our teachers create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, grow, and build confidence through play-based learning and our Life Essentials® curriculum.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe, loving, and nurturing classroom environment
• Plan and lead age-appropriate educational activities
• Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom
• Follow state licensing, health, and safety requirements
• Communicate professionally with parents and team members
• Complete daily reports and classroom documentation
• Assist with meals, diapering, toileting, and rest time as appropriate for the age group
• Supervise children closely in the classroom and on the playground
• Work collaboratively with other teachers and academy leadership

Qualifications:

• Previous childcare or early childhood education experience is preferred
• Must meet Missouri childcare licensing requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• CDA, Associate’s degree, or coursework in Early Childhood Education is a plus
• Must be dependable, patient, positive, and professional
• Must be able to lift and carry children and actively participate in classroom activities
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred; training may be provided
• Must pass all required background screenings
