As a PennDOT CDL Operator Trainee, you will perform the following duties:Equipment Operation: Operate trucks, loaders, and other assigned equipment safely and efficientlyLicense Maintenance: Maintain required CDL credentials and complete equipment certifications during the probationary periodTraffic Control: Perform flagging duties to support safe and effective traffic flow during work activitiesManual Labor Tasks: Use hand tools to complete activities such as cutting brush, repairing guiderails, digging ditches, and maintaining work areasEquipment Care: Complete daily inspections, minor repairs, and preventative maintenance to ensure proper operationSafety Awareness: Follow required safety procedures and report hazards, injuries, or equipment issues promptlyInterested in learning more?
