Lifeway's tart and tangy fermented dairy products are sold across the United States, Mexico, Ireland, and the United Kingdom.Job Summary: The Dairy Process Worker I will have the ability to follow directions and work cooperatively with the production team to ensure the completion of orders.Schedule: First Shift: Monday through Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm (including occasional Saturdays) overtime as needed.Duties/Responsibilities:Report to workstation on timeWear proper work attireAssist in setting up work areaFollow SOP, SSOP, GMP, and general safety policiesPerform all assigned production tasksInform line leader of any issues or questions that might ariseEnsure the work is being done accurately and to completionMaintain workstation organized and sanitizedSanitize all machinery equipment and non-machinery equipment including ladders, windows, floors, and drainsPerform COP (Clean Outside Place) processPrepare and weight ingredients for mixingAdditional Duties as assignedRequired Skills/Abilities:Ability to calculate basic math and readAbility to actively listen to instructions and understand basic EnglishEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalentNo experience necessaryPhysical Requirements :Must be able to lift 50lbsAbility to be on your feet for an 8-hour shiftAbility to climb on ladders and maneuver through equipmentLifeway Foods, Inc is a growing Chicago-based beverage manufacturer with 40 years of experience.
