Labor & Employment Associate Attorney

Lateral Link is assisting a repeat client and global firm seeking a Labor & Employment Associate to join its busy and dynamic group. The ideal candidate will possess 2-6 years of handling and managing employment litigation matters and providing employment advice and counsel. Why join this team? The candidate hired for this position will work with partners and directly with clients The work is interesting with cool clients Associate are given a lot of responsibility to run with things Not a huge team to get lost in the shuffle Other responsibilities include: Providing day-to-day employment and human-resources counseling for clients Reviewing, analyzing, and drafting employment agreements, employee handbooks and policies, severance agreements, and other employment documents Handling employment litigation matters, including single-plaintiff and class action lawsuits, ERISA lawsuits, wage-hour class actions, and administrative charges Taking and defending depositions, managing written discovery, drafting, and arguing motions, and examining witnesses at trial Working with the team to provide guidance to clients on sensitive personnel issues and policy review and implementation Opportunity to advise and support on traditional labor and NLRB matters Handling employment aspects of due diligence in mergers and acquisitions, including reviewing employment provisions of asset and stock purchase agreements Relocation candidates will also be considered. #J-18808-Ljbffr Lateral Link
