Machining SupervisorCompX National is hiring a Machining SupervisorPosition Responsibilities:Responsible for CNC vertical and Swiss Lathe departmentsSupervise and coordinate CNC machinists and operatorsMonitor production schedules to ensure on-time deliveryTroubleshoot machine, tooling and process issuesCoordinate preventive maintenance activitiesReview and implement process improvementsConduct performance evaluations and provide trainingEnsure compliance with quality standards and company proceduresEnsure compliance with company safety standardsEssential Skills and Experience:CNC machining experience, both vertical and Swiss lathesStrong knowledge of CNC programming, tooling, and machining processesSolid understanding of speeds, feeds, tooling selection, and work holding for a variety of materialsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and engineering specificationsSupervisory and leadership experienceStrong troubleshooting skills and a continuous improvement mindsetExperience with Lean Manufacturing a plusHigh school diploma; Technical training/certification a plusCompX National is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
