Electrophysiology Technologist Contract Position

Looking for an exciting opportunity in medical imaging? This contract position focuses on providing skilled care as an Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist, contributing to patient diagnostics in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Certified or credentialed as an Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist
• Prior experience in cardiac EP lab procedures
• Familiarity with diagnostic imaging equipment and safety protocols
• Proficiency in monitoring, recording, and analyzing electrophysiological data
• Strong understanding of sterile techniques and cardiac anatomy
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with physicians, nurses, and fellow technologists
• BLS and ACLS certification (preferred)
• Ability to remain calm and professional in critical situations

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures, including device implants and ablations
• Set up, calibrate, and maintain imaging and EP monitoring equipment
• Monitor patient vital signs and procedural data, documenting all required information accurately
• Prepare patients for testing and explain procedures clearly to ensure comfort
• Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols throughout each procedure
• Participate in quality assurance activities and maintain ongoing staff education
• Support a collaborative, team-driven environment within the EP lab

$2,588 - $2,815/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
