This contract role focuses on providing outstanding care and precise technical support during a variety of electrophysiology procedures in a modern clinical environment.

Key Qualifications:

• Registered or certified as an EP Technologist (RCES or equivalent preferred)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience working as an EP Tech in a hospital or clinical setting
• In-depth knowledge of EP studies, catheter ablation, device implants, and cardiac mapping systems
• Strong understanding of radiation safety protocols and sterile technique
• Ability to recognize and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition during procedures
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with physicians and nursing staff

Primary Responsibilities:

• Prepare procedure rooms and ensure all EP equipment is functioning properly
• Assist electrophysiologists in diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac procedures, including complex ablations and device implantations
• Interpret and document intracardiac electrograms, assist in troubleshooting equipment during procedures
• Monitor patient status, maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout
• Maintain accurate records and adhere to all safety, regulatory, and compliance standards
• Participate in team meetings, continuous learning, and quality improvement initiatives
