Job Description

Step into a vital role supporting cardiac imaging procedures as an Electrophysiology (EP) Tech. This contract assignment calls for a skilled and motivated EP Tech to deliver high-quality imaging and technical expertise for electrophysiology studies and related interventions.

Responsibilities include:

• Preparing labs and ensuring appropriate equipment setup for EP procedures
• Operating and maintaining imaging and mapping systems during casework
• Assisting physicians with real-time technical support and troubleshooting during cases
• Monitoring patient condition and ECG, recognizing arrhythmias, and documenting procedures precisely
• Ensuring patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times
• Maintaining accurate and thorough records according to regulatory standards
• Supporting the team with inventory, equipment sterilization, and procedural room workflow

Ideal candidates bring:

• Proven experience as an Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist or in a similar imaging role, with strong knowledge of cardiac procedures
• Current credentials in EP technology or relevant allied health certification
• Familiarity with EP mapping systems and radiologic imaging equipment
• Attention to detail and the ability to remain calm in urgent clinical situations
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Up-to-date compliance with hospital immunizations and health requirements
