Contracts Support Specialists

OBXtek has an immediate need for a number of highly qualified Contracts Support Specialists to support our new U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command Hemisphere contract in the El Segundo, CA area.

Travel is not anticipated but would occur less than five percent of the time on an occasional and irregular basis and be limited to domestic locations only.

We are seeking multiple Contracts Support Specialists to fill the following positions located in the El Segundo, CA area:

• Senior Acquisition Contracting Specialist
• Senior Contracts Specialist
• Senior Contracts Manager
• Acquisition Contracting Specialist
• Contract Closeout Specialist
• Contracts Manager
• Contracts Principal

The Contracts Support Specialist shall have:

• Experience in Federal, DoD, Air Force, and SSC contracting processes and procedures
• Ability to lead all aspects of any contract action required by the program office, including but not limited to solicitations, change proposals, funding modifications, and award or incentive fee management
• Prior Procurement Contracting Officer (PCO) or Buyer experience in U.S. Air Force or U.S. Space Force procurement or in a similar role
• Experience in performing final Contract closeouts of assigned contracts
• Experience with the preparation, negotiation, acceptance, and management of government contracts and subcontracts
• Experience analyzing estimates of material, equipment and production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules
• Experience advising management of contractual rights and obligations and providing interpretation of terms and conditions
• Experience recommending changes to policies and procedures

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Salary Range: $100k - $170k

Qualifications

Required:

• U.S. Citizen
• Active TS/SCI clearance/access or TS/SCI eligible
• Bachelors degree in a Federal contracting-related discipline, such as Administration or Procurement, Purchasing, or Acquisition
• At least 10 years of relevant federal contracting experience as an ACO, contracting officer, legal specialist, or similar positions

Desired:

• Familiarity with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), the Defense FAR Supplement (DFARSUP), and applicable U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force contracting and procurement regulations
• Completed training certificates in relevant courseware
• Certifications in relevant fields, such as Federal Acquisition Certification in Contracting (FAC-C) or Certified Federal Contracting Manager
• Experience with contract award protest adjudication process
