Key Qualifications and Experience:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar support role is highly desirable
• Ability to build rapport with both students and staff, offering encouragement and assistance
• Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and strong communication skills
• Familiarity with assisting children who have diverse learning needs or behavioral challenges
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times
• Willingness to follow all school policies and teacher guidance
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide academic and behavioral support to students in classrooms and other educational settings
• Assist teachers in preparing materials and organizing activities
• Help implement individualized education plans under direction
• Monitor student progress and offer feedback on performance and behavior
• Support a positive, respectful atmosphere that encourages learning for everyone
• Supervise students during non-classroom times, such as lunch, recess, or field trips
