Registered Nurse - Med Surg (13-week Contract)

Location: Wilson, NC

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with every other weekend required.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide care in a Med Surg setting, responsible for monitoring patient conditions, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality care.

Responsibilities:

• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status.
• Facilitate communication with patients and families.
• Utilize MEDITECH for patient documentation and data entry.
• Support a positive and collaborative patient care environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience.
• Experience with MEDITECH preferred.
• Ability to float as a second nurse in Telemetry and ED.
