Aspire Physical Recovery Center at Cahaba River is looking for RNs who want to work weekends only while continuing to use and strengthen their clinical skills in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment.

Aspire Cahaba is a licensed nursing facility where more than 75% of the patients we serve are here for rehabilitation. Our nurses care for patients recovering from hospitalization, surgery, illness, injury, and other complex conditions. You'll work alongside nursing, therapy, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team while helping patients rebuild strength and regain independence. You don't just meet the patient. What You'll Do

• Provide skilled nursing care to rehabilitation and long-term care patients
• Complete assessments and monitor changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Respond appropriately to changes in clinical status
• Collaborate with physicians, therapy, pharmacy, and interdisciplinary team members
• Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and Nursing Assistants
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Communicate effectively with patients and families
• Promote patient safety, dignity, recovery, and independence

Qualifications

• Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Dependable and committed to scheduled weekend shifts
• Compassionate, patient-focused approach
• Hospital, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or long-term care experience is a plus
