Location: San Francisco, CA (downtown office, 5 days per week)
Compensation: $110,000 - $180,000 + 0.01% - 0.10% equity
Employment Type: Full-time
Visa Sponsorship: Visa transfers (OPT, H-1B transfer) About the Company The client is building the financial operations platform for construction, a $12T global industry run on software built 20-40 years ago, much of it on-premise with no APIs. The client spent three years building the rails to read and write across those systems and uses them to deploy AI for invoicing, expenses, compliance, billing and more. The client (Y Combinator W22) is backed by Accel and Y Combinator with investors from Procore, Autodesk and Plaid, has raised a $20.5M Series A, and grew its customer count 18x year over year. Its three co-founders have worked together for 12+ years across Graphiq (acquired by Amazon) and Amazon. The Role The client is hiring a smart generalist to become an expert on its product and lead both sales demos and customer implementations, reporting directly to the co-founder/CEO. You will guide customers from technical sales support through hands-on onboarding, project management and customer success, learning a complex B2B product in depth as the client onboards 5-8 new customers a week. What You Will Do
- Lead discovery and product demos with Sales, answer technical questions and qualify fit.
- Own customer onboardings end to end: configure the product, train customers and serve as their primary contact.
- Project-manage many implementations at once with plans, timelines, milestones and escalations.
- Spot churn risks and upsell opportunities, and feed product feedback to engineering.
- Build templates, tooling, documentation and education materials that scale onboarding to hundreds of customers.
- Define and improve KPIs for onboarding timelines.
- A strong generalist with technical aptitude and excellent communication
- Experience with customer-facing technical work such as solutions, implementation or customer success
- Project management skills across many parallel customers
- Ability to work in person in downtown San Francisco 5 days a week
- Construction, fintech or B2B SaaS experience
