Litigation Support Analyst

LocationOpen to the following Harris Beach Murtha offices (Albany, Buffalo, Ithaca, Rochester, and Syracuse, NY; Boston, MA; Bantam, Hartford, New Haven, and Stamford, CT) for a hybrid or remote opportunity.RoleHarris Beach Murtha is looking for a Litigation Support Analyst to work closely with attorneys, IT, and external vendors to ensure defensible handling of client data and efficient execution of litigation support workflows.You will thrive in this role if you have:2-5+ years of experience in litigation support, eDiscovery, or related experience (required)Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Legal Studies, or related field (preferred)Experience with SQL, LAW, and Relativity (preferred)Strong analytical skills and the ability to multi‑taskExcellent communication and client service skillsResponsibilitiesCoordinate and execute data collections from various sources, including email, network shares, cloud repositories, and local devicesImplement and maintain defensible preservation practices, including tracking custodians, data sources, and chain of custodyEnsure data integrity and proper handling of metadata throughout the collection processProcess client data using industry‑standard tools, preparing data for ingestion into Relativity or LAW PreDiscoveryLoad, manage, and maintain workspaces within Relativity, including folder structures, fields, layouts, and permissionsTroubleshoot processing errors and manage exception handling during ingestion workflowsSupport document review teams by creating batches, running searches, and managing data organizationAssist with analytics workflows, including keyword searching, filtering, and deduplication as applicableProvide technical support to attorneys and review teams during active review cyclesPrepare document productions, including native and image formats, load files, and metadata deliverablesCommunicate with internal stakeholders and external clients regarding project status, requirements, and timelinesAssist with onboarding new matters, including workspace setup and data intakeCollaborate with IT, Records, and vendors to ensure seamless workflow executionEnsure proper and timely billing entries of Litigation Support activitiesCandidate ProfileExhibit the ability to effectively multi‑task, meet deadlines, and provide solutions in a fast‑paced office settingDemonstrate strong client service and active listening skillsBelieve in the firm's core values: collaboration, inclusion, ingenuity, respect, integrity, and commitmentEnjoy working with diverse personalities within various levels of the firmComfortable working in the office on a hybrid schedule or fully remoteHave the flexibility to work varying hours each week (including some nights)SalaryAlbany, Buffalo, Ithaca, Rochester and Syracuse, NY: $28.85 - $38.47/hourEEO StatementHarris Beach Murtha is committed to an inclusive environment and welcomes applications from diverse candidates with varied background and skills, including military experience.
