Our office, Valley Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery-Sacramento, in Sacramento, CA is seeking a talented full-time surgical assistant to our Oral Surgeon to join our busy specialty practice. We are looking for a talented and skilled Surgical Assistant to help us accomplish our mission to improve the lives of our patients by providing a world-class specialty experience for every patient. Your Responsibilities

• Prepare the surgical area, instruments, and equipment before each procedure.
• Assist the surgeon during procedures by anticipating the surgeon's needs and assisting as required.
• Keep surgical areas and instruments clean and sterilized.
• Monitor and record patient vitals and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Prepare and provide post-operative instructions and materials to patients.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the surgeon or office manager.

As one of the essential members of our office, you will also help to facilitate/coordinate other office responsibilities as needed.

Your Background

• 1-2 years in Oral Surgery
• Understanding of health & safety regulations
• Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks
• Good computer skills
• Excellent communication and people skills
• A strong attention to detail
• Well-organized and reliable
• A high school diploma

Position Base Pay Range

$26 - $30 USD
