We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press / Saw Operator to join our world-class manufacturing team at our state-of-the-art aerospace facility. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various press and saw equipment to produce high-precision components for the aerospace industry. This role requires a strong background in manufacturing, with specific expertise in press and saw operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate hydraulic and mechanical presses to form, shape, and cut metal components according to precise specifications
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine production requirements
  • Perform pre-operation checks on equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety
  • Monitor machine operations and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and consistency
  • Inspect finished parts for conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
  • Identify and report any equipment malfunctions or quality issues to supervisors
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to optimize production processes and workflow
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality
  • Document production data, including quantities produced, material usage, and quality metrics
  • Perform routine maintenance on press and saw equipment, including lubrication and minor repairs
  • Train and mentor junior operators on proper equipment operation and safety procedures
  • Adhere to all company policies, industry regulations, and quality control standards
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification in manufacturing or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 1years of experience operating press and saw equipment in a manufacturing environment, preferably in aerospace or related industries
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions
  • Strong knowledge of press operations, including hydraulic and mechanical presses
  • Basic computer skills for operating equipment and entering production data
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality components
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
