About the Role

Brooksource is hiring a Technical Project Coordinator to support field installations, upgrades, and service events for our client, a leading national telecommunications provider, in the West Chester, OH area. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys coordinating technical deployments and wants exposure to large-scale, nationwide infrastructure projects for major national brands.

In this role, you'll be the go-to point of contact on the day of the job — keeping field technicians, project managers, dispatch, vendors, and customers all on the same page from the moment a technician is dispatched to the moment the work is signed off.

You don't need to be a network engineer, but you should be comfortable around technical environments — you'll be hearing about firewalls, switches, and access points, and you should be able to follow along and communicate confidently with the technicians doing the install.

Who You'll Support

You'll help coordinate deployments for major national retail and restaurant brands as part of a large, ongoing nationwide rollout — there's a lot of runway on this account, with new deployments added regularly.

What You'll Do

• Run pre-dispatch readiness calls with field technicians to confirm arrival times, scope, materials, site access, and that everyone's prepared for the job.

• Provide real-time support to technicians throughout the installation or service event, helping troubleshoot and keep things moving.
\n
• Track technician progress against project milestones and timelines.
\n
• Post hourly progress updates in the client's tracking systems (Smartsheet and similar platforms).
\n
• Manage equipment orders and purchase/work orders, and keep technician and job records up to date in internal systems.
\n
• Confirm that documentation, test results, photos, and other records are completed and uploaded within 24 hours of project completion.
\n
• Serve as the main point of contact for day-of communications between field techs, management, customers, and the project team.
\n
• Occasionally help pull and stage ordered equipment (firewalls, switches, access points) from the on-site warehouse — no driving or travel involved, it's all in the same building.

What We're Looking For

\n
• Experience as a project coordinator or project manager — this matters more than having a telecom-specific background.
\n
• A background in telecom, cable, Cisco, Fortinet, other network hardware, or infrastructure deployment is a strong plus, but not required.
\n
• Comfort working around managed network environments — you know what a firewall, switch, or access point is, and you won't be thrown off by network diagrams or technical shorthand, even without deep engineering knowledge.
\n
• Strong communication skills — you're the hub connecting technicians, project managers, vendors, and customers in real time.
\n
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, juggling multiple deployment tickets at once with hourly reporting requirements.
\n
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented when it comes to documentation and compliance.
\n

Logistics

\n
• Location: West Chester Township, OH 45069 — fully on-site (office and warehouse environment).
\n
• Schedule: Monday through Friday, 5 days onsite.
\n
• Contract type: W2 contract, minimum 3 months with potential to extend to 6+ months, and an opportunity to convert to full-time for strong performers.
\n
• Start: Hiring now, with training targeted to begin in early October.
\n

Compensation

$20.00/hour
