Analyst I/II Position

Effective July 1, 2025, in accordance with the applicable Memorandum of Understanding, the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) was implemented. PLP 2025 requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit R0 1, and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by three percent and will receive five PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027. Salaries do not reflect the recent changes.

Under supervision of the Supervisor I, Fiscal Management Section (FMS), Field Support Unit, the Analyst I provides the fiscal and business management oversight to approximately four institutions throughout the state. These duties and responsibilities require high-level and complex analytical and research skills, initiative, independence, and good judgment. This position performs advanced responsibility and complex oversight of fiscal and business practices and requires proficiency in the use of computers and knowledge of Departmental policies and procedures. There is travel required with this position.

This position is located in the Fiscal Management Section, which is responsible for managing/tracking California Correctional Health Care Services' budget and the development of various procedures and processes related to its management.
