Structural Revit Designer

Role: Structural Revit Designer Location: Austin, Texas / Houston, TX / Fremont, CA / Lathrop, CA Job Type: Contract (Possible for extension or hire) What to Expect Client is seeking a skilled Structural Revit Designer to support the design and constructionof advanced industrial, manufacturing, and data center facilities within the Giga Texas Infrastructure team. You'll model structural elements and produce LOD 400 construction documents using Revit, coordinating closely with multidisciplinary teams via point clouds and Revizto to ensure clash-free, constructible designs. With experience in Revit Structural, AutoCAD, and BIM content development, you'll contribute to mission-critical projects that enable Client's rapid innovation in Robotics (Optimus), AI and vehicle manufacturing. This onsite role demands technical precision, adaptability, and proactive collaboration in a fast-paced environment. What You'll Do • Support the design and construction of a variety of new and renovations to existing industrial, manufacturing, data center and other high-tech facilities • Model structural elements and prepare construction documents including plans, sections, details and relevant schedules • Utilize Revizto and point clouds for coordination and clash detection • Coordinate with other design disciplines including BIM team to coordinate structural models with multidiscipline project teams including Architecture, Mechanical, Electrical, Piping/Plumbing and Fire Protection • Receive design inputs, comments and markups from structural engineering leads to update/modify existing structural models • Utilize and improve structural design standards • Actively develop technical proficiency in REVIT and structural design practices, while deepening engineering knowledge to enhance design accuracy, efficiency, and constructability What You'll Bring • Minimum 2 years of C&S drafting for building or Industrial projects or equal experience • Experience with Revit Structural & AutoCAD • Willingness to work overtime to meet deadlines • Able to multi-task and be flexible/adapt to rapidly changing project requirements/timelines • Ability to work independently with minimal oversight; prioritize and communicate assignments and escalate issues in a timely manner • Ability to produce (LOD 400) level drawing packages
