Operations Accountant

Operations Accountant RoleWhat can you expect in the role of Operations Accountant?Support the day-to-day accounting operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, banking transactions, and journal entries.Assist with account reconciliations, payroll & related administrative support.Help maintain organized records for finance and other departments while ensuring transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.Work closely with the Controller and gain exposure to many aspects of finance and business operations—not just one specialtyMust-haves: What you'll need for this role?Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.Professional communication skills and the ability to work well with internal and external stakeholders.A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to manage multiple prioritiesWhat would be a plus in this role?Experience with ERP systems and general ledger accounting.Experience with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, payroll, or month-end close.Knowledge of process improvement or documentation.Experience working in manufacturing, engineering, or technology companies.Familiarity with multi-company or international accounting environments.It's a plus if you've heard of the following terms:ERP Systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV, Business Central, SAP, etc.)Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger (GL)Journal Entries and Account ReconciliationsPayroll and Organizing/maintaining related information
