Full Charge Accountant

Overview The Custom Realty family of companies is a Rochester, NY–based real estate group comprised of multiple affiliated entities, including residential and commercial brokerage, business brokerage, and property management. In addition to our service-based operations, we own and manage an real estate asset firm a portfolio of real estate investments and are expanding into new platforms, including our auction-based transaction platform. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Full Charge Accountant based in Rochester, NY. The Full Charge Accountant will oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations across multiple affiliated entities. Responsibilities Maintaining the general ledger, reconciling accounts, preparing financial statements and reports, managing payroll, overseeing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The role will also support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives. Qualifications Strong knowledge of general accounting principles, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable Experience preparing financial statements, reports, and budgets across multiple entities preferred Proficiency in payroll processing and regulatory compliance Advanced skills in accounting software and Microsoft Excel High attention to detail with strong organizational skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and manage responsibilities across multiple entities Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA designation is a plus Comfortable working in a growing, dynamic, and evolving organization #J-18808-Ljbffr Coldwell Banker Custom Realty
