Plasma Center Nurse - LPN

Job Description Plasma Center Nurse (Medical Support Specialist) at BioLife Plasma Services, a subsidiary of Takeda Pharmaceutical Company. The role supports the day‑to‑day operations of a plasma donation center, reporting to the Plasma Center Manager and operating under the guidance of the Center Physician. Key Responsibilities Determine donor eligibility, including informed consent, medical history interview, physical examination, blood testing, and review of serological protein electrophoresis. Manage donor adverse events, evaluate donor reactions, and follow SOPs for medical emergencies. Notify donors of unsuitable test results and refer to the Center Physician or Medical Affairs for guidance on medical or technical issues. Support hepatitis B and seasonal flu vaccination programs for employees. Manage employee incidents, coordinate with occupational health/ER, and follow EHS guidance. Act as Pandemic Coordinator when authorized by EHS and support investigations of pandemic threats. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent, or graduate‑level recognized nursing program with state requirements. Licensed or certified LPN or LVN in the state of assignment. Current CPR and AED certification. Fulfillment of state requirements for basic IV therapy. Completion of FDA‑approved training for BioLife Medical Support Specialist. Minimum of two years in a clinical or hospital setting. Benefits $5,000 sign‑on bonus. Competitive hourly wage: $24.32–$33.44 (varies by qualifications and experience).
