Job Description

Job Summary:
The CT Tech is responsible for producing high-quality computerized tomography images of designated anatomical areas as ordered by a licensed physician. This role requires working collaboratively within a fast-paced environment, supporting patient care and adhering to established protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Operate CT scanners to capture precise images for diagnostic purposes.
• Adhere to established safety and clinical procedures while performing scans.
• Collaborate with medical staff and CT aides to ensure seamless workflow and patient safety.
• Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly in the Epic system.
• Support ongoing staff training and compliance with accreditation standards.
• Maintain equipment and report any technical issues promptly.

Qualifications:

• Hold a valid New Jersey DEP license and ARRT certification in CT imaging.
• Possess a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in CT imaging.
• Demonstrate proficiency in EPIC electronic medical record system.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Be able to work flexible hours including Thursdays, Fridays, and every other weekend.
• Maintain BLS (AHA) certification.
