Conduct comprehensive analysis of electricity market trends and other ISO/RTO market rules and practices to identity opportunities or inform design decisions Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive analysis of electricity market trends and other ISO/RTO market rules and practices to identity opportunities or inform design decisions Market Design and Analysis: Demonstrates the ability to work independently in the performance of complex studies and analysis of issues. Offers concepts and strategies pertaining to market design that will enable PJM to remain at the top of its field Possesses a working knowledge of PJM markets and understanding of the PJM Agreements and Tariffs. Applies expertise in solving new and complex problems and develops innovative strategies to evolve the PJM markets. Develops position papers to support market design alternatives and facilitate internal decision making on complex market design matters Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Mathematics or equivalent work experience 5 years of experience Engineer/Analyst position Ability to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis Ability to use mathematical and electrical theory Ability to troubleshoot and provide technical support MS degree in Engineering or at least 8 years of experience Sr. Engineer/Sr. Analyst At least 8 years of experience Sr. Engineer/Sr. Analyst Experience with PJM operations, markets, and planning functions #J-18808-Ljbffr NextGenEnergyJobs
