A well-established, privately owned orthopedic practice is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join its growing multidisciplinary team in Vancouver, WA.

This is an excellent opportunity for an orthopedic PA who wants high clinical autonomy, strong earning potential, and a true office-based work environment without ER call, OR responsibilities, or surgical assisting.

You ll evaluate and treat patients with primarily spine and extremity conditions , perform office-based procedures, interpret imaging, manage follow-ups, and coordinate care alongside experienced specialists and the Medical Director.

Exceptional Compensation

• $220,000 base salary
• Flexibility up to $250,000 for highly qualified candidates
• $20,000 bonus available for a timely hire
• Historical annual bonus of approximately 10% of base salary
• Compensation commensurate with experience and qualifications

Your Clinical Role

You ll practice with a high degree of autonomy while having direct clinical support from the Medical Director.

Responsibilities include:

• Conducting comprehensive new-patient evaluations and physical examinations.
• Evaluating and treating orthopedic conditions involving the spine and extremities .
• Managing follow-up and post-operative visits.
• Ordering and interpreting diagnostic studies.
• Interpreting X-rays, MRI, and other diagnostic imaging .
• Performing office-based orthopedic procedures, including ultrasound-guided injections.
• Prescribing medications, medical supplies, devices, and appropriate home-health services when indicated.
• Educating patients and families regarding diagnoses and treatment plans.
• Coordinating care with specialists and multidisciplinary providers.
• Maintaining accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Using EHR systems and clinical technology effectively.
• Applying evidence-based medicine and sound clinical judgment.

Patient Population

The practice provides comprehensive orthopedic evaluation and treatment, particularly for patients involved in accidents.

The patient population primarily includes:

• Spine conditions
• Extremity injuries and orthopedic conditions
• Post-operative orthopedic patients
• Patients requiring non-surgical orthopedic management
• A significant population with brain injuries

A Practice Designed for Work-Life Balance

• Take ER call
• Assist in surgery

Ideal Candidate

We're looking for a Certified Physician Assistant who has:

• Graduate degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current PA licensure in Washington and Oregon ; assistance with obtaining licensure may be available.
• 4+ years of orthopedic experience .
• Strong experience evaluating and treating spine and extremity conditions .
• Experience performing orthopedic patient evaluations and treatment.
• Ability to interpret diagnostic imaging.
• Experience with office-based procedures/injections preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills.
• Excellent patient communication and education abilities.
• Strong EHR and computer skills.
