Job Overview A law firm seeks a Real Estate Associate with a focus on hospitality in Chicago, IL. The successful candidate will join a dynamic team working on high-profile hospitality projects, providing top-tier legal counsel to clients in the hospitality sector. Duties Lead the drafting and negotiation of complex legal documents, including letters of intent and purchase agreements. Structure and close hospitality financings, negotiating credit facilities and collateral packages. Manage seamless closings, collaborating with clients and transaction contacts. Conduct due diligence reviews to anticipate and mitigate risks. Mentor and lead junior associates. Requirements Five to seven years of real estate and transactional experience, preferably in the hospitality sector. Prior experience in a large law firm is required. Admission to, and good standing with, the State Bar of Illinois. Education Stellar academic credentials. Certifications Licensed to practice law in Illinois.
