Location: Scott City, Kansas

Start Date: 08-05-2026

End Date: 11-04-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $36 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement individualized therapy interventions following each patient's OT plan of care
• Help patients develop and restore functional independence through meaningful activities
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner
• Empower patients and families with education and guidance
• Keep supervising OTs informed about patient status and progress
• Follow safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to keep everyone safe

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active Kansas COTA license (or the ability to obtain one)
• Strong teamwork and patient care skills
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with patients, families, and the care team
• A commitment to safety, infection control, and compliance

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of occupational therapy interventions
• Accurate and timely documentation skills
• Patient and family education techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Infection control and safety compliance
• Patient care and teamwork
