Registered Nurse (RN) - PACU

Registered Nurse – Critical Care

Shift: 4x10, 12:00–22:30, Monday–Friday; no weekends, no holidays, no call.

16-week contract; average daily census: 70–90; unit open 24/7.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in PACU at a Level I trauma center and ICU/critical care.

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required; CCRN and TNCC preferred.

Knowledge of mechanical ventilation, vasoactive drips, ICP monitoring, and critical care interventions.

Experience with patient populations including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Familiarity with EPIC charting system.

Provide high-acuity care in Phase I PACU recovery.

Monitor patients post-operatively, addressing needs related to ventilation and critical care interventions.

Administer medications and blood products as needed.

Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Perform EKG rhythm analysis and manage invasive lines and central lines.

Parking available for a fee; additional compliance details to be provided upon discussion.
