Senior Accountant Consultant
$35 - $45 per hourAscendo
Ascendo is partnering with a client in South Florida that is looking for a strong Senior Accountant to join their team on a temporary consulting basis.
This consultant will be brought in to provide coverage during a maternity leave, making this a great opportunity for someone who can quickly step into an accounting team, pick up existing processes, and hit the ground running. What you'll handle:- Month-end close and journal entries
- Account and bank reconciliations
- General Ledger maintenance
- Financial reporting and account analysis
- AP/AR support as needed
- Researching and resolving discrepancies
- Supporting accounting projects and process improvements
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Strong GL and month-end close experience
- Solid understanding of GAAP
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience with accounting/ERP systems
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working independently
- Ability to quickly adapt to a new environment
