Connected Crew Health, LLC is a North Carolina-based organization committed to improving access to behavioral health and social support services. From mental health and substance use programs to housing support and workforce development, we provide a wide range of services for youth, adults, and families. By partnering with schools, healthcare providers, community agencies, and justice-involved programs, we aim to create a stronger, healthier community for all.

As a Certified Peer Support Specialist , you will use your personal experiences and professional training to provide hope, guidance, and encouragement to individuals navigating behavioral health challenges. Your role will be vital in fostering trust, building relationships, and supporting clients as they work toward their goals.

In this role, you will:

• Provide peer support services to individuals and families in need.
• Share your lived experiences to inspire hope and demonstrate recovery is possible.
• Assist clients in identifying and achieving their personal goals.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers, community agencies, and other partners to ensure comprehensive care.
• Advocate for clients to access resources such as housing, transportation, and workforce development opportunities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided and progress made.
• Uphold the values of Connected Crew Health, LLC by fostering a supportive and inclusive environment.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

• Certification as a Peer Support Specialist.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or relevant field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• A deep understanding of behavioral health challenges and recovery processes.
• The ability to work collaboratively with diverse individuals and organizations.
• A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
