Administrative Assistant Intern

We are a fast-growing tech startup based in Falls Church, VA, passionate about building innovative tools and technology-driven solutions for businesses. Our team values creativity, collaboration, and efficiency, and we are looking for a motivated and organized Administrative Assistant Intern to help keep our operations running smoothly. This part-time, on-site role (approximately 10–20 hours per week, flexible around class schedules) is ideal for a student who wants hands‑on experience in business operations, organization, and startup management. As an Administrative Assistant Intern, you will assist with day‑to‑day administrative tasks such as scheduling, filing, and data entry, as well as coordinating meetings, taking notes, and managing calendars. You will help support internal communications, maintain organized documentation, assist with onboarding new interns and employees, and manage office supplies to ensure the workspace is functional and efficient. Additionally, you may contribute to internal projects and process improvements and provide general support to team members and leadership. To be considered, you must be enrolled as a sophomore or above in college, preferably studying Business Administration, Communications, Management, or a related field. You should have strong organizational and multitasking skills, attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication abilities, and be comfortable using common office software such as Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or Slack. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a proactive mindset are essential. Preferred qualifications include experience with project management tools such as Notion, Asana, or Trello, an interest in technology and startups, and the ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
