Job Summary:
• This position involves managing a designated patient care service area, ensuring safe and effective clinical care.
• The role requires a registered nurse with experience in ambulatory, medical surgery, or ER settings.
• It is a full-time position located in Bronx, NY, with a rotating Saturday schedule.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or equivalent
• Minimum of three years' experience in an ambulatory, medical surgery, or ER setting
• Minimum of two years of nursing experience
• Bilingual, Spanish preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse in New York State
• Current BCLS certification
• Current Infection Control and Child Abuse Certificates

Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure effective patient flow within the health center
• Assist providers in procedures, phone calls, and referrals
• Provide nursing care and health education
• Oversee maintenance of clinical inventory and forms
• Assist with diagnostic procedures and treatment regimens
• Communicate care area goals to the care team
• Monitor selection and use of health center supplies and equipment

Qualifications:
• Demonstrated ability to plan, make decisions, and direct the work of others
• Basic computer skills including typing
• Ability to perform venipuncture and administer medications
• Experience with telephone triage and diagnosis procedures
