Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Valid LBS1 certification required
• Demonstrated experience as a Special Education Teacher, preferably with middle school students
• Deep understanding of instructional strategies for students with high support needs
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for a small group of six students
• Provide differentiated instruction and behavioral supports within a welcoming, structured classroom
• Maintain ongoing communication with students’ families, related service providers, and other staff
• Monitor student progress and adjust strategies to meet evolving needs
• Document instructional activities and assessment results in accordance with school policy
• Participate actively in school meetings, trainings, and professional development opportunities
