COOK, PREP at UT Dallas (FUll TIME)

Job Details We are hiring immediately for full‑time COOK, PREP positions. Location: University of TX - Dallas – 800 West Campbell Road, Richardson, TX 75080. Online applications are accepted only. Schedule: Full time – weekdays and weekends; open availability is preferred. Position for the FALL semester. Requirement: Dishwasher experience preferred. Pay Rate: $16.00–$18.00 per hour. Job Summary Prepares food and serves customers in accordance with applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef. Prepare items on production sheets following established quantities and recipes. Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste log sheets. Taste completed meals to ensure quality. Operate and clean equipment per department procedures after each use. Store, label, and date all food items according to policy. Follow HACCP guidelines. Complete all required documentation, reports, logs as required. Comply with federal, state and local health and sanitation regulations and department sanitation procedures. Takes orders from customers and prepare items requiring short preparation time. Serve customers in an efficient and friendly manner. Complete orders from steam tables and grill and serve customers at multiple stations. Use approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures and standard portion control. Resolve customer concerns. Perform other duties as assigned.
