When you join us as a Mammography Technologist, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21st century and align all stakeholders—patients, providers, payors, and regulators—to achieve the best clinical outcomes. Responsibilities Perform a variety of tasks involving the operation of mammographic equipment and other equipment/devices in adherence to established company policies and protocols. Produce high quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care. Understand and use compression, exposure modes, filter, KvP, Mas, grid selection, focal spot size, AEC selection, photo cell selection and other adjustments to produce high quality images. Monitor patients’ well-being during exams; recognize patient discomfort or medical problems and take appropriate action. Guide patients through the procedure by explaining steps and answering questions regarding exam procedures and processes. Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients. Demonstrate competency in safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information. Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and legal requirements. Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals. Maintain professional behavior toward patients and coworkers; be responsive to the needs of others. Respect patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions. Interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting. Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships. You Are Genuinely passionate about patient care and able to exercise sound judgement and maintain professionalism in all situations. Able to demonstrate effective and professional communication, interpersonal skills, and respect with patients, guests, and colleagues. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritize work with a structured approach, and enjoy solving complex problems. To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have ARRT(R)(M) certification State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology Must have BLS certification At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred We Offer Comprehensive Medical, Dental and Vision coverages.
