Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry (Nights)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays Required | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation across a Med Surg and remote telemetry unit
• Direct and coordinate nursing care based on established clinical nursing practices with a patient ratio of 1:6–7
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes
• Administer medications using bedside scanning technology
• Float between Medical Surgical and Telemetry departments as needed based on unit requirements
• Provide care for patient populations including Med Surg, Ortho, Post-op, CHF, and Respiratory

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Georgia (or compact eligibility)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an acute care setting
• Minimum 2 completed travel assignments required
• Recent hands-on experience with Cerner EMR
• Experience with Med Surg patients and remote telemetry monitoring

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Orthopedic, Post-op, CHF, or Respiratory patient populations
• Comfort with floating between departments in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Strong adaptability to variable scheduling based on unit needs
