Location Hampton, VA Work Shift First (Days) Position Summary Sentara Careplex Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Intermediate Care/Stepdown Unit. The RN unit Coordinator demonstrates proficiency in nursing practice for the assigned specialty area and provides clinical leadership for the delivery of nursing care in the department. Under the direction of the department manager, the RN leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff, resulting in increased staff satisfaction and excellent (Gold Standard) customer service. Position Details Full time, 36 hours per week Day Shift Education RN-Bachelor’s Degree RN-Master’s Degree Certification/Licensure Virginia or Compact Multi-state RN license in good standing ACLS and PALS or ENPC within one (1) year of hire BLS within 90 days of hire Experience Experienced RN 18 months nursing experience required.
