About the Role

The Company is in need of an experienced Interim CFO to provide both strategic and hands-on financial leadership during a defined transition period. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. This role requires the CFO to lead the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with GAAP, ensure the integrity and timeliness of financial data, and evaluate and strengthen internal controls and financial processes. The Interim CFO will also be a key partner to executive and operational leaders, supporting decision-making, and identifying areas for process improvement and cost optimization. Applicants for the Interim CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with an advanced degree preferred, and a CPA is required. A minimum of 15 years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including senior leadership or CFO-level responsibilities, is necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting, and a proven track record of leading finance teams and overseeing complex financial operations. Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills are essential, as is a high level of professionalism, discretion, and integrity. Prior experience in interim, consulting, or contract-based leadership roles is strongly preferred.
