Para Support Specialist-District Wide

Position Details Date Posted: 7/2/2026 Location: District-Wide Hours Per Day: 4.0 Shift: TBD, subject to change Hourly Rate: $36.95 per hour Job Summary Paraeducator Support Specialists provide specialized assistance and resources for special education students across the District. They provide training and support for district paraeducators, special education instructors, and other school teams. Paraeducator Support Specialists may also provide direct support to students using positive behavioral interventions and strategies. They report to Special Services Directors. Experience & Education Associate's degree (AA) or higher, or two (2) years of college coursework equivalent to 72 quarter credits, or a passing score (461 or higher) on the Educational Testing Service ParaPro Assessment. Official documentation will be required upon hire. Must pass a criminal background check. Must complete de‑escalation training upon hire. Certification and Licensing Requirements Must possess a valid Washington State driver's license. CPR and first aid certification preferred.
