Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $1,995 per week

Job Overview We are looking for a Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) for an immediate travel opening in Douglasville, GA. The position is a 13‑week assignment, 8‑hour days, 40 hours per week. Minimum required experience is 1 year, or 6 months for exceptional candidates. New graduates are encouraged to apply. Specialty and Discipline Speech Language Pathologist Duration 13 weeks Hours and Shift 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week (day shift). Employment Type Travel Responsibilities Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Create treatment and therapy plans tailored to individual patient needs. Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders. Educate patients and family members about speech disorders, causes, disabilities, and traumatic events. Report progress and current status to appropriate parties, including family members, teachers, or medical professionals. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Business Life Support (BLS) certification. ASHA‑SLP National Certification. State‑specific licensing. Ability to stand and walk for long periods and to bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment. Compensation and Benefits Pay package based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend.
