Assistant Bakery Manager

Clements' Marketplace seeks a full-time Assistant Bakery Manager for our location in Portsmouth, Rhode Island. Clements' is a family owned and operated business with four locations and ties to RI & MA since 1980. Duties & Responsibilities:

• Monitor the freshness of products and manage inventory.
• Prepare and bake products as needed.
• Follow proper cleaning, sanitation and food safety guidelines. Equipment will be utilized in a safe manner, in accordance with store policies and procedure. Maintaining proper organization of work spaces is also required.
• Oversee the daily operation of our bakery department to ensure customer service standards are met. This includes some coordination of department staff.
• Work closely with other staff members and management to maintain department goals. This position may perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• At least two years previous working experience in a related field.
• Ability to resolve problems efficiently and effectively.
• Highly motivated individual that can work in a fast paced retail environment.
• Ability to multi-task, have excellent time management and organizational skills.

Pay: $18-21/hour
