1st Shift Sit Down Forklift Operator

The Sit-Down Forklift Operator will be responsible for moving, staging, and organizing materials, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting daily warehouse operations. This role works closely with the Shipping/Receiving team and the General Manager, requiring a balance of equipment operation, material handling, and basic documentation tasks to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update inventory records accurately.
• Support the General Manager and production floor with various tasks.
• Operate the sit-down forklift for approximately 70% of the time.
• Perform general production work for the remaining 30% of the time.

Essential Skills

• Experience in a production environment.
• Proficiency in inventory control and management.
• Ability to operate a sit-down forklift.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with SAP, Oracle, and other inventory management systems.
• Experience with work orders, purchase orders, and bills of lading.
• Strong organizational and scheduling skills.

Work Environment

This role is based in a production, office, and warehouse environment. The workspace is non-climate controlled, requiring adaptability to varying temperatures. 8a-5pm.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
