Medical Receptionist Full Time Position

The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Center is looking for a highly motivated, friendly, full time Bilingual (Spanish) Medical Receptionist. Schedule is Monday - Friday. 8-hour shift.

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide excellent customer service to patients and address any inquiries or concerns while fostering a warm and welcoming environment for patients
• Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner
• Collect co-pays and account balances
• Answering multiple phone calls
• Scheduling appointments
• Send clear and professional messages to doctors on behalf of patients
• Verifying insurance coverage
• Prior Authorization for Radiology and Outpatient Physical Therapy (we will train)
• Follow HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents

Qualifications:

• Able to reliably commute to your scheduled location. Must be able to commute to at least 3 of our other locations as needed.
• Must be able to work the closing shift 12p-8pm at least 2 days a week.
• High School Diploma or equivalent. Higher education a plus!
• Previous experience in the healthcare field a MUST. Physical Therapy or Pain Management a plus!
• Excellent multitasking, organizational and organizational skills
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
