TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Charlotte, North Carolina, 28204!

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – North Carolina

Start Date: September 21, 2026

Location: North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15), 36 hours per week, every other weekend required. Contract duration up to February 27, 2027.

Highlights

• High-acuity emergency department with approximately 170 visits per day across 53 beds
• Patient ratios: Non-critical 3:1, critical 2:1, with appropriate staffing support
• Diverse case mix including STEMI, stroke, and Level 2 trauma patients across adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations
• Epic EMR system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response, pharmacy, and respiratory services
• 36-hour orientation period with no call or float requirements
• First-time travelers and local candidates welcome

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of registered nursing experience
• Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state license)
• Required certifications: TNCC, ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and MOAB
• Required skills: IV start and maintenance, triage, telemetry interpretation, and conscious sedation
• Demonstrated experience with blood product administration, ventilated patient care, dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Proficiency with Epic charting system required
• Must complete EKG testing prior to start date
• Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Preferred Qualifications

• ENPC certification
• Previous trauma center experience
• Level II Trauma Center experience
